- Please prepare a 1 minute contemporary monologue appropriate for young people. There may be youth present at the audition.
- Bring two copies of headshot and resume.
- Be prepared to list scheduling day and evening conflicts.
- We will likely cast younger characters with older actors.
Stipend, non-Equity. All cultural backgrounds welcome.
Total of 5-7 performances per play (several on weekday mornings).

Ensemble will act in two fully produced short plays: Sina and the Eel and Some-Body, and one staged reading: Alone by the Playground

1 Woman, 1 Man (teen), 1 Woman (teen)
Ensemble will act in two fully produced short plays: Fire Hazard and Idiot, I'm Great and one staged reading: A Life or Death Situation

Sina and the Eel by Kiegan Lee - Selfish gods ensnare modern teens in this retelling of a Samoan origin story.
SINA - late teens, a beautiful girl
ANEWA - late teenage boy, next in line for the throne
KAHIA - Anewa's passionate younger sister
FAINGA'A - Goddess of unrequited love
VAEA - around 35 years old; Chiefess of Matavi, mother to Kahia and Anewa
MELAKI - an early teenage boy, younger brother to Anewa and Kahia. Also plays TETUNA - the god of eels.
Some-Body by Tan'yeasia Brewster - A surprising discovery allows three preteens to contemplate the unknown.
MARCUS - 12 years old, good at deflecting, struggles with having an absent father, sees situations in a positive light
ANDREA - 13 years old, very sassy, likes to act like a know-it-all. still very naïve, however. THEO - 11 years old; very naive, and isn't really good with handling emotions
MAN - Homeless man sleeping throughout the entire show
Alone by the Playground by Aisling Archdeacon - Rock helps Paper and Scissors return home to the classroom.
PAPER - bossy, insensitive, smart-mouth
ROCK - quiet, lonely, afraid to speak his feelings
SCISSORS - kind, positive, loyal
ELLIOT - a caring, creative, and artistic child
Breakdown Company B- Directed by George Yè
Fire Hazard by Cassandra Hsiao - A rebel teaches a star student that the truth cannot be incinerated.
NOAH - 17 years old; immediately likeable, easy-going, not to mention easy on the eyes. Caucasian.
SAMI - 17 years old; a wild child. Brightly sardonic, poignantly cheerful, reckless. Not Caucasian.
Idiot, I'm Great by Savannah Spatafora - She like-likes him; he just wants space. Can they be un-lonely together?
AGNES - teen; self-described as angry, loud, obnoxious and bossy
WILLIAM- teen; sweet and caring, but troubled and confused
TEACHER -English teacher
A Life or Death Situation by Sofia Miller - Life and Death find themselves united by humanity.
THANE - (Death) Male, lonely, confused
VIVIA - (Life) Female, carefree, happy until Thane comes along
LEORA - (Mortal) Female, age 9; curious, bubbly, happy-go-lucky
