Professional actors will perform short scripts and songs inspired by Black Pearl Sings! prior to the 2 P.M. performance on Dec. 9th. Scripts were written by Playwrights Project's Out of the Yard program participants who are currently incarcerated at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility and Centinela State Prison.

Changes at the Playwrights Project Office
Emily Fleet
Managing Director
Through her role as Playwrights Project's Office Manager for the past two years, Emily has mastered the ins and outs of office administration and how it relates to a successful non-profit organization. She is delighted to assume her new role of Managing Director and is looking forward to continuing to grow professionally with Playwrights Project.
Nicole Hernandez
Administrative Assistant
Nicole is a graduate of California State University San Marcos with a B.A. in Visual & Performing Arts. In college, she was Founder and President of the CSUSM Improv student organization and a nominee for the Tukwut Leadership Award. She decided to pursue a career in theater administration following a summer interning with La Jolla Playhouse in Company Management. She is very excited to be joining the Playwrights Project team!
