Introducing the 34th Season of 
Plays by Young Writers Festival

Playwrights Project is proud to present the 34th annual Plays by Young Writers Festival from January 10-12, 16, & 22-26, 2019 at The Sheryl & Harvey White Theatre in The Conrad Prebys Theatre Center at The Old Globe. Plays by Young Writers is comprised of five winning scripts from the 2018 California Young Playwrights Contest. Three scripts will receive full professional productions, and two will be produced as staged readings.

Theatre artists, educators, and parents celebrated the accomplishments of young writers at Lights Up! Playwrights Take the Stage on September 29th. The reception honored the semi-finalists, finalists, and winners of the 2018 California Young Playwrights Contest!
