Beyond Prison Walls – Now Accepting auditions!

Submit your audition for the Beyond Prison Walls Festival at SDSU! We are casting a company of actors to play multiple roles across six (6) short plays. This production is a staged reading of powerful scripts written in Playwrights Project’s Out of the Yard Program, featuring students from SDSU’s School of Theatre and Film. Actors will perform with scripts in hand; action will be blocked and rehearsed with minimal technical elements.

NOTE: This is an unpaid acting opportunity for current SDSU students. Fee may be negotiated for SDSU Alumni.

To audition:
Please record and submit a 1-min monologue (memorized or read from a page) Please state your name and pronouns at the beginning of your audition video.
